Based on the original 70's MGB, the original design team were bought out of retirement to update a classic.
The Multi-Point Fuel-Injected 3.9l V8 engine puts 142kw with 318nm of Torque through a 5sp manual transmission to the rear wheels, capable of propelling the car from 0-100 in under 6 seconds!!
Front suspension is Independent, double wishbone, coil springs and telescopic dampers with anti-roll bar, while the rear is a Live axle with twin taper leaf elliptic springs and telescopic dampers. Twin lower torque control arms with anti roll bar.
Power steering has been fitted enhancing the driving experiance.
It can all be brought to a halt quickly with front 270 mm ventilated discs, and rear 9" drums with servo assistance
The most striking interior feature of the RV8 is the beautiful veneered Burr Elm woodwork which adorns the dash, centre console and door cappings.
The handcrafted interior is further complemented by the extensive use of high quality connolloy leather which embellishes the cockpit giving a very luxurious look and feel to the whole interior.
